Former Speaker, Hassan Jumare Is Dead, Atiku Mourns

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar mourns the death of former Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Ahmed Hassan Jumare.

Infoexpert24 reports that Jumare popularly called Bronco has since been buried in his hometown, Makarfi in Kaduna state.

Atiku Abubakar made a tweet just hours after his death.

Taking to his Twitter account, Atiku described his demise which was not seen coming as a shock to him. According to him, Hassan Ahmed is a selfless leader who was loved by all and prayed that God accepts him in his abode.

In his words;

“The passing away of Rt. Honorable Ahmed Jumare Hassan, a former Speaker, Kaduna State House of Assembly came to me as a shock. He was a selfless politician, truly loved by his people. May his family and friends be comforted. I pray that Allah forgives his sins and grant him Aljannah Firdaus”

 His last office was as Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kaduna State. He was also, a Political Adviser to former Vice President, Namadi Sambo.

The former Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Ahmed Hassan Jumare served between 2012 and 2015, is dead.

The PDP Kaduna state chapter, in a statement by its Publicity Secretary, Abraham Alberah Catoh, stated that “Kaduna State chapter regrets to announce the death of one of its greatest leaders, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Jumare (Branco).”

“He was a former Executive Council member of Makarfi LGA, former Kaduna State of Assembly Speaker and immediate past Deputy Chairman of the PDP.

“You were a humble leader per excellence, a team player and an astute politician who strived for a better and safer society for all democrats. “We shall definitely miss your counsel and doggedness.”
