Arsenal Won’t Win Premier League Even With Havertz, Declan Rice And Timber – Emmanuel Petit

Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit has cast doubt on the Gunners’ chances of challenging Manchester City for the Premier League title in the upcoming season, even with the signings of Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber, and Kai Havertz.
Infoexpert24 recalls that Arsenal came close to winning the prestigious crown last season, mounting a strong challenge for the title after a two-decade wait.
However, their hopes were dashed as Manchester City clinched the title in the closing stages of the campaign.

In an effort to strengthen the squad for the upcoming season, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been busy in the transfer market.
The acquisition of Kai Havertz from Chelsea has already been confirmed, while Timber and Rice are rumored to be among the potential signings in the pipeline, according to The Mirror.
Despite the potential additions to the squad, Emmanuel Petit remains skeptical about Arsenal’s chances of challenging Manchester City for the title.
While acknowledging that Rice would be a valuable addition to his former club, Petit believes that Arsenal still lack the necessary depth to compete with City.
“Rice is a very good addition to the Arsenal squad, but they need to bring in more players if they want to compete for the title or at least narrow the gap with Manchester City,” .
Petit emphasizes the importance of strengthening the squad and suggests that simply spending £200 million to enhance the team’s quality may not be sufficient to match the current level of Manchester City.
He believes that Arsenal still falls short in terms of squad depth and overall quality compared to the reigning champions.
Arteta and the Arsenal hierarchy will need to carefully assess the squad’s needs and make further additions to ensure they have the necessary firepower to compete at the highest level.
Closing the gap with Manchester City will require significant investment and strategic recruitment.

The Gunners will be eager to prove their doubters wrong and mount a serious title challenge in the upcoming season.
However, with Manchester City’s dominance in recent years and the strength of their squad, Arsenal faces an uphill battle to dethrone the reigning champions.
The new signings, including Rice, Timber, and Havertz, will undoubtedly strengthen Arsenal’s squad, but it remains to be seen if it will be enough to bridge the gap at the top of the Premier League.
The upcoming season will provide a true test for Arteta and his team as they aim to restore Arsenal to their former glory.
