On Monday evening, Bukayo Saka received the Young Player of the Year award at the London Football Awards, in recognition of his contribution to Arsenal‘s remarkable season.

At the awards ceremony, which recognized the best talents across all three tiers of English football, Saka made a heartfelt speech dedicating the award to young children in London.

He said,”I want to dedicate it [the award] to all the children that are growing up in London with big dreams, said Saka. “I was once in their shoes and it’s always nice to remember that. It always makes winning things like this more special.”

“I’m really grateful for everyone who voted for me and recognising me with this award. Thank you again,” he added.
