Thomas Partey is unlikely to spend long on the sidelines

Arsenal does not believe Thomas Partey has sustained any significant damage after his rib injury and he is expected to be available for their next match.

The Ghana international was withdrawn at halftime half-time of Friday night’sFA Cupdefeat toManchester City at the Etihad.

Fortunately for the Gunners, the initial assessments have shown it is not a serious injury – though they are still waiting on the results of the MRI according to The Sun.

As a result, the club are hopeful Partey will be fit and available for next weekend’s trip to face Everton at Goodison Park, where the table-topping Gunners will be hoping to avoid being on the end of a new manager bounce as Sean Dyche takes charge of his first match.
