Arsenal Fans Under Fire For Shining Laser In Mykhailo Mudryk Face During Clash With Chelsea

Arsenal fans have come under fire from football pundits and the wider public after a laser pen was shone in the eye of Chelsea forward Mykhailo Mudryk during Tuesday night’s London derby at the Emirates Stadium.
The incident which occurred in the second half of the game was captured by television cameras and has since gone viral on social media.
Mudryk was visibly distracted and appeared to be temporarily blinded by the laser beam which was traced back to a section of the home supporters.

The unsportsmanlike behavior drew condemnation from both managers and led to a chorus of disapproval from fans and commentators alike.
Chelsea caretaker boss, Frank Lampard expressed his displeasure at the incident in his post-match press conference, stating that “it’s dangerous for the players to have a laser shining in their eyes” and calling for action to be taken.
Meanwhile, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta also condemned the actions of the fans responsible, telling reporters that “it’s unacceptable and has no place in football.”

The incident has reignited the debate around the use of laser pens in football stadiums, with many calling for stricter measures to be put in place to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
Laser pens are already banned in most football grounds, but it appears that this has not deterred some fans from attempting to use them.
The incident has also sparked a wider conversation around fan behaviour in football, with many criticising the actions of a minority of supporters who tarnish the reputation of the sport through their irresponsible actions.
It remains to be seen what action, if any, will be taken against the individuals responsible for shining the laser pen at Mudryk.

However, the incident serves as a stark reminder that football fans have a responsibility to behave in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner, both to their fellow supporters and to the players on the pitch.
Already struggling to start games, Mudryk will be hoping that Chelsea don’t sign more competition for a starting place next season.
Reports emerged last week that the Blues were considering a swap deal with AC Milan which would see Portuguese forward Rafael Leao come in with either Ruben Loftus-Cheek or Kalidou Koulibaly going out in return.
Below are few reactions fro fans on Twitter condemning the attack on Mudryk:
