Arsenal have been dealt a major blow as rumors of their midfielder, Martin Odegaard return to Real Madrid gain momentum.

Arsenal could be at risk of losing captain Martin Odegaard following reports that his early season form has caught the eye of Real Madrid.

Gunners have little time to prepare for their next Premier League fixture as they aim to maintain their five point lead at the top of the table.

And although Mikel Arteta may be working hard with his players on the pitch, director of football Edu is working harder off it as the Gunners pursue a deal for Mykhaylo Mudryk.

More worryingly for Arsenal, however, is that one of their current stars is being eyed by a European giant, while a rumored transfer target has made a huge admission over his next potential destination.

The Norwegian only signed a permanent deal with the Gunners in the summer of 2021 and has been influential this season in helping them mount an unlikely title charge. However, Los Blancos are now flirting with the idea of returning for their former player in the near future.

According to Marca, Los Blancos have first refusal on Odegaard after inserting the clause into his contract when he joined Arsenal. The report also states that hope to exercise this clause should he wish to return to Spain.
