Argentina Song Insulting England Over Falklands Reaches No.1 On Spotify Ahead World Cup Final

The Argentina chant Insulting England over the Falklands has surged to No.1 on Spotify ahead World Cup Final today with France.

Lionel Messiand co have been filmed chanting the anti-England song after many of their victories in the World Cup. Former Manchester City defender posted a video of La Abiceleste singing jubilantly, in unison, after they secured their place in the World Cup final with a ruthless 3-0 victory over Croatia.

Recall Infoexpert24 reported earlier that English referee Anthony Taylor was blocked from refereeing the 2022 World Cup final between Argentina and France because of the Falklands War.

According toGloboreport, the song which is known amongst Argentine fans as “muchachos”, was played more than 500,000 times in one day. Otamendi posted the video of the song on his Instagram account.

The central defender, alongside Manchester United ace Lisandro Martinez and Julian Alvarez can also be seen joining in with the song. It is a song that had gradually snowballed in popularity with every match Argentina win.

“We are the Argentine band and we will always support, because we have the dream of becoming world champion.”

Before brutally continuing: “I’m like that, I’m Argentine, f****** English from Malvinas (the Falkland Islands) I don’t forget. I am like that, I come to support you, I follow Argentina everywhere.”

Argentina will likely belt out the number if they overcome France in the World Cup Final. And so will millions of passionate Argentines, and maybe millions of others around the world, considering the fact the chant is trending at No.1 on Spotify.
