9 Arsenal Players Faces Potential Departure After Granit Xhaka And Thomas Partey

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is preparing for a significant overhaul of his first-team squad this summer, with the potential departure of Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey just the beginning.
In addition to these midfielders, another nine players could be on their way out of the Emirates Stadium.
Despite Arsenal’s commendable Premier League title charge last season, falling short of their ultimate goal and conceding the trophy to Manchester City, Arteta is determined to build upon their promising campaign.

Xhaka is expected to leave, and according to reports from The Telegraph, Partey might also be following him through the exit doors.
The departure of Ainsley Maitland-Niles, whose contract has expired, and Pablo Mari, who will join Monza on a permanent basis, have already been confirmed.
However, there are nine other players whose futures at Arsenal are in question.
Kieran Tierney: Tierney has been the subject of exit rumors for several months. The Scottish international had limited opportunities last season, starting only six league matches.
Newcastle United has been linked with a move for the left-back, as he lost his spot following the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Rob Holding
Holding struggled when deputizing for William Saliba in the final two months of the season. Despite being one of the longest-serving members of the squad, Arteta is looking to strengthen his defensive options behind Saliba, which could result in Holding’s departure.
Cedric Soares
Cedric’s loan spell at Fulham in January failed to make a significant impact. With the imminent return of Takehiro Tomiyasu, the Portuguese right-back will find himself low in the pecking order at Arsenal.
Furthermore, the club is actively searching for a new right-back, which may further limit Cedric’s prospects. He only has a year left on his contract.
Nuno Tavares:
Tavares impressed during his loan spell at Marseille last season. However, his future at Arsenal could depend on what happens with Tierney this summer, as both players occupy the left-back position.

Albert Sambi Lokonga
Lokonga fell out of favor at Crystal Palace following the departure of Patrick Vieira as manager. The midfielder has been linked with a move to Burnley, where he could reunite with his former Anderlecht boss Vincent Kompany.
Nicolas Pepe
Arsenal is actively looking to offload their record signing, Pepe, during the summer transfer window. If the Gunners are unable to find a club willing to pay a transfer fee, there are even rumors of a potential contract cancellation.
Folarin Balogun
Balogun has made it clear that he does not want to go out on loan again next season. The young striker has attracted interest from clubs across Europe, and Arsenal could demand a significant fee for the academy graduate.

Auston Trusty
Following an impressive loan spell at Birmingham City, Trusty was named their Player of the Season. The defender could secure a permanent move to St Andrew’s without ever making an appearance for Arsenal.
Alex Runarsson
Goalkeeper Runarsson has one year remaining on his Arsenal contract but is not in Arteta’s plans. A summer move away from the club seems likely for the Icelandic shot-stopper.
As Arteta aims to reshape his squad for the upcoming season, Arsenal fans will be closely monitoring the developments surrounding these potential departures.
The manager’s vision for the team’s future and the incoming transfers will undoubtedly shape the club’s prospects for success in the coming season.
