Arsenal Reignite Interest In Premier League Star ‘Keen To Quit’ Current Club Following January Saga

Arsenal is reportedly keeping a close eye on Moises Caicedo’s situation, as the midfielder is said to be “keen to quit” Brighton, despite only recently signing a new contract.
The Gunners had a tumultuous January window, failing to secure several top signings before opting for alternatives.
They attempted to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk, before Chelsea swooped, hijacking the deal and snaring the forward for themselves.

Mikel Arteta’s side opted for Leandro Trossard as an alternative. He’s had a good impact for Arsenal so far, scoring once and providing eight assists in 16 league games.
The Ecuadorian was a top target, and his pleas to the Seagulls to let him leave went unheeded. Arsenal made two bids, the highest of which was £70 million, before turning to Jorginho.
Nevertheless, they have continued to keep tabs on Caicedo, and Brighton is apparently expecting bids despite the midfielder’s new deal.

Although he would gain a reputation for disloyalty if he left so soon, the midfielder is unlikely to care, as he seeks to move on to a bigger club.
Arsenal is said to be in the lead to sign Caicedo, who expressed a desire to join them in January, and is drawn to the club’s young, talented squad.
Adding him to Arsenal’s mix could provide them with an edge over other clubs, as the 21-year-old is quickly becoming one of the world’s top holding midfielders.
Although Chelsea is also interested, they are not in as strong a position due to their current struggles. Regardless of whether Arsenal wins the league this season, the squad’s core is expected to remain the same, allowing them to compete for the top spot again next year.
