Barcelona Defender On Arsenal Radar

Premier League giant, Arsenal is reportedly the latest club to have shown an interest in signing Barcelona star, Clement Lenglet.

Infoexpert24 understands that the race to sign Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet in the summer transfer window is intensifying.

Though Arsenal’s interest inLenglet comes as a bit of a surprise considering the fact that Arsenal already has two left-footed center-backs in Gabriel Magalhaes and Pablo Mari.

Lenglet joined Barcelona from Sevilla in the summer of 2018 and has since endured a roller-coaster of a ride at Camp Nou.

The 26-year-old French international has been on a gradual decline at the Catalan club, with the 2020/21 season being one to forget for the French defender.

To date, Lenglet has made 133 appearances for Barcelona, scoring seven goals and two assists.

However, heading into the summer transfer window, it has appeared as if he might have already played his last game for the Blaugrana, as they are ready to cash in on him. And the player does not have any shortage of suitors, with Arsenal leading the pack of the chase.
