Arsenal are reportedly planning to hold talks with Folarin Balogun as they draw up their wishlist ahead of the summer transfer window.
With the Gunners currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table, Mikel Arteta‘s side could potentially attract top talent to bolster their squad, and the attack is reportedly an area of focus.
While the club has been linked with several top strikers, including Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Dusan Vlahovic, Tammy Abraham, Victor Osimhen, and Rasmus Hojlund, the pursuit of a more imposing attacker could spell the end of Balogun’s time at the Emirates Stadium.

The 21-year-old forward, who has spent this season on loan at Reims in Ligue 1, has scored an impressive 17 goals in 27 league appearances.

Balogun’s versatility across the forward line makes him a good fit for Arteta’s squad, but his height at 5ft 10in could be a disadvantage if Arsenal seeks to sign a more imposing striker.

The club’s sporting director Edu and loan manager Ben Knapper have been monitoring Balogun’s progress throughout the season, and Arteta plans to hold talks with the player, whose contract has only two years remaining.

As such, Arsenal may choose to cash in on the talented young player during the summer transfer window.
