Nigeria Former Deputy Senate President, Ibrahim Mantu is Dead.

Ibrahim Mantu reportedly died early Tuesday morning.

As of the time of filing this report, the cause of Ibrahim Mantu’s death is not known.

The ex-lawmaker died at a private hospital in Abuja.

Ibrahim Mantu was born in Chanso village, Gindiri District, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State on February 16, 1947.

Ibrahim Mantu joined politics in 1978. He was elected Deputy State Chairman of NPN in Plateau State in 1980.

The former lawmaker will be buried later today according to Islamic rites.
