Chelsea‘s poor run of form continued as they were beaten by Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
Despite their struggles in recent times, they were still expected to comfortably beat Southampton, who were rock-bottom in the Premier League going into the game.

But Chelsea were unable to secure just their second victory of 2023 as they succumbed to a 1-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge.

The reporter then relayed that comment to Potter in his post-match press conference.
The reporter asked Potter: “It’s only a short walk from the press box but I got approached by two Chelsea fans on the way here.
Negative feedback: one said you had to go, the other called you the worst manager in the club’s history. How do you respond to the criticism and what do you say to fans like that?”
