Erik Ten Hag's Cutthroat Decision Targets £95m Duo in Massive Clear-Out
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has reportedly made the decision to offload four players from the squad in the next two weeks, as he aims to streamline the team and make room for new signings.
Despite United’s improved performance under Ten Hag, there is still work to be done to turn them into title contenders.
The ongoing takeover situation has limited their transfer activity, but they have managed to secure the signing of Mason Mount from Chelsea for around £55m and are in talks with Inter Milan for goalkeeper Andre Onana.

To fund further transfers and shape the squad according to his long-term plans, Ten Hag is intent on parting ways with Harry Maguire, Fred, Scott McTominay, and Jadon Sancho.
The manager has already made definitive decisions on who he wants to keep and believes that a fully focused and involved group will yield the best results.
West Ham is among the interested clubs for Maguire, although United’s asking price of £50m may need to be negotiated as potential buyers believe he is available for £35m.
High wages could be a stumbling block to his departure. Ten Hag has opted to utilize Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane at centre-back, pushing Maguire down the pecking order.

Fred, linked with a move to Fulham, and McTominay, admired by West Ham and Newcastle, faced competition from new arrivals Christian Eriksen and Casemiro, affecting their playing time and prospects.
Meanwhile, Sancho’s future at United remains uncertain. The club values him at £45m and Tottenham has shown interest, although discussions have been limited thus far.
United sees Sancho as a potential makeweight in a deal for Harry Kane, but negotiations with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy are challenging. While Kane prefers a move to Old Trafford, the current situation suggests it is highly unlikely.
