Super Eagles midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has completed his medical ahead of his move to newly-promoted English Premier League club Watford, from Stoke City.
The player had a successful medical recently and signed afterward. Watford started enquiring about the player sometime back but was made public only yesterday.
The Nigeria international, 25, spent last season on loan at Turkish club Galatasaray, where he made 29 appearances across all competitions.
The details of the contract have not been made known, but there are reports Etebo will sign a permanent deal with the Hornets.
“It is true he (Etebo) has gone through his routine medicals at Watford but let’s wait for more official details about the deal, and that will be soon. It’s not a loan move,” our source said.
Once the deal is completed, Etebo will become the fifth Nigerian at the club after William Troost-Ekong, Isaac Success, Tom Dele-Bashiru, and Emmanuel Dennis.
