Skales reveals painful life experience

The spotlight of showbiz often masks the real feelings and happenings in the life of celebrities. Many have pains and when they decide to let the public know the true aspects of their lives, it becomes obvious that they are also red-blooded humans.

This is the case with Nigerian singer, Skales, who recently revealed that he was not born with a silver spoon, he stated that his family struggled to survive especially after his father abandoned the family.

Skales also revealed that he doesn’t know what his father looked like, stating that he only remembered that he had a beard.

“That’s one mystery that I’ve not been able to solve I don’t even know what my dad looks like. The only thing I can remember about my dad was the day he was leaving us.

“He came to kiss me on the forehead and I remembered he had a beard. But I can’t remember the other things because I was so young. I was like four or five years old.

“I have tried to ask my mum. But then, again, because I love my mom and I hate when my mum is sad, I feel like, okay, it’s going to make her sad. I never asked,” he said.
