After his exit from EME, popular musician, Skales revealed that he went through some hard times until Olamide appeared like a guardian angel to rescue him.
The “Shake Body” crooner said revealed that has was kicked out of EME because his product wasn’t making a profit for the organisation.
Skales stated that the record label refused to renew his contract when it ended, a decision that left him in financial ruin. He said he had no money and he was homeless.
However, out of nowhere, Olamide called him, he said he liked his song “Shake Body” and asked if he wasn’t going to do a video. When he explained his situation at the time, Olamide sent him money for a video shoot and the song went viral.
“My deal with them was done and they refused to continue because I wasn’t doing well at that time.
“Olamide contacted me and said he loved one of my songs, Shake Body, and asked if I wasn’t going to shoot the video. I told him I was homeless and couldn’t possibly shoot a video and he sent me money. My God turned my life around after that video shoot,” Skales said.
