Tennis superstars Serena and Venus Williams have found themselves in a lighthearted social media spat after a playful disagreement at Venus’ home resulted in Serena being banned from using her sister’s gym.
Serena had posted a TikTok video earlier in the week, teasingly accusing Venus of theft after spotting several items in her sister’s gym that she claimed were hers.
However, things took an unexpected turn when Venus responded by kicking Serena out of her home and forbidding her from using the gym.
Serena has since spoken out about the incident insisting that it was all in good fun and that there are no hard feelings between the sisters.

Venus responded by claiming on her Instagram story that her sibling would no longer be invited to her house. Serena seemed to accept the comment and apologized.
But she has now extended the banterous saga further. The 23-time Grand Slam singles champion posted a new video on her TikTok account.
Serena claimed it was unfair that Venus had kicked her out. And she said in no uncertain terms that she would be making a return.

Serena said: “Who else thinks it’s totally unfair for Venus to kick me out of her house and say I can’t use her gym? All because I told the truth about how she took so many things of mine.
“Shall I not speak the truth anymore? Anyways, speaking of the truth, I’m going back, obviously. I’m going back.”
Venus responded to the latest video by reposting it onto her Instagram story with a poll for fans to vote. The poll was titled “Is it unfair?”, giving followers the option to vote “Yes”, “No”, and “Get a lawyer”.
At the time of writing, most respondents were jokingly advising Venus to seek legal advice over the matter. Serena wasn’t too happy with the outcome.

She responded on her own story, writing: “@venuswilliams and you are at war she kicked me out of her house… lol I demand justice.”
It was the second time Serena, 41, had asked for justice this week. Her initial video saw her detail what she felt her sister had stolen from her.
Serena said: “I’m here to confess that my sister is a thief. Here’s evidence. So I’m at Venus’ house and clearly this is where all my workout balls went but I’m trying not to complain, I’m trying to just be positive here.
“This amazing reformer was mine so. I keep asking her for some money but she’s outright refused.
“She needs to be brought to justice. That’s an ‘S’ on that towel. These things are mine. What else in here is mine? Is that in fact my dog. That is my dog.”
However, fans can’t help but wonder if this playful quarrel might spark a renewed rivalry between the tennis legends on the court. Only time will tell if the sisters will resolve their differences and get back to practicing together in Venus’ gym.
