Ronaldo’s Fury Unleashed As He Chases Referee In Anger After Two Penalty Denials [Video)

Cristiano Ronaldo was left incensed after not one but two penalty shouts were denied during Al-Nassr’s game against Al-Raed in the Saudi Pro League on Friday night.

Despite scoring his side’s opening goal, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner was left fuming after the referee failed to award a penalty when he was fouled by an opponent in the box.

A VAR check failed to overturn the on-field decision, prompting Ronaldo to throw his arms around and scream in frustration.

Minutes later, Ronaldo was riled up again when Al-Nassr’s appeals for a handball were quickly dismissed, causing him to chase after the referee in anger.

These on-pitch tantrums have become a regular sight for Ronaldo with former PSG ace Christoph Jallet recently condemning his behaviour stating that it damages his reputation.

Ronaldo’s goal against Al-Raed marked his 12th in 14 appearances for Al-Nassr who are currently three points behind league leaders Al-Ittihad in the title race.

However, their hopes of lifting the trophy may be dashed unless Al-Ittihad suffers a late collapse in the coming weeks.

Despite this, rumours circulated in the Spanish press that Al-Nassr cheated during Ronaldo’s deal, but the team’s press advisor Walid Al-Muhaidib vehemently denied the accusations.

He stated that the reports were based on a false and incorrect claim by the Arabia News 50 website.

“The talk in the Spanish press that we cheated on the Ronaldo deal, based on the Arabia News 50 website, is false and incorrect. The press came up with his joke and thought it was true.”

The drama surrounding Ronaldo’s outbursts and the controversy over his move to Al-Nassr may threaten to overshadow his remarkable footballing career, but only time will tell how this chapter of his story will unfold.
