Preview: Manchester United VS Liverpool

This is a clash between the most successful teams in the Premier League as Manchester United will be welcoming Liverpool to the Old Trafford on Super Sunday.

In 57 Premier League meetings between these two teams, with Manchester United winning 28 games, while Liverpool have won 15 matches, with the other 14  games ending in tears.

Manchester United will be without Anthony Martial and Phil Jones due to injury. Liverpool, on the other hand, Jordan Henderson, Joel Matip, Joe Gomez, and Virgil Van Dijk, while Nathaniel Phillips, Divock Origi, and Caoimhin Kelleher are injury doubts.

Both teams have very good away run, but have been below average. Manchester United will edge closer to Champions League qualification. A win for Liverpool will put more pressure of the other top 4 candidates. This looks like a clash that could end in a draw.

You can catch the game live on DSTV channel 203, SuperSport Premier League on Monday, May 2 2021, by 4:30 pm Naija time.
