People Feared Dead, Cars Burnt As Fire Guts Storey Building In VI Lagos

There are fears that no fewer than six persons have been burnt to death as fire gutted a building suspected to be occupied by a bank in Lagos State.

There was tension on Tuesday morning in Adeola Odeku street near Polaris Bank Headquarters after an explosion reportedly rocked a building in the area.

According to information available to infoexpert24, no fewer than six persons have been burnt to death as fire gutted a building suspected to be occupied by a bank.

Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service making efforts to put off the raging fire caused by the unknown explosive.

The Agency said it received distressed calls of a fire outbreak at about 10.03 am on Tuesday, and rescue operations commenced almost immediately.

Some residents who took to social media, Twitter precisely to report the incident have berated the Lagos State Fire Service for failing to show up at the scene forty minutes after the fire started.
