Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham continue to make progress on recruiting signings during the January transfer window.
The Gunners know they must strengthen their title-chasing squad as they look to win a first Premier League crown in two decades.
Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk continues to be their priority target, and the club continue to hope a compromise can be found on the asking price. Should a deal not be reached, the Gunners are exploring a shock loan move for Eden Hazard.
Chelsea have made three January signings already, though all three are younger talent with an eye on the future, and are closing in on a fourth addition as Joao Felix flies in for a medical this afternoon to complete his move.

Chelsea may also turn to World Cup finalist Marcus Thuram in an effort to strengthen their attack, while new arrival David Datro Fofana could be sent out on loan this month.
Tottenham have joined Chelsea in the race for Brighton’s Leandro Trossard, while Sporting right-back Pedro Porro remains a target and Jordan Pickford and David Raya are potential options to succeed captain Hugo Lloris, who has confirmed his retirement from international duty. Chelsea are set to announce the loan signing of Joao Felix tomorrow as he wraps up his move to the Blues.
The 23-year-old was expected to fly to London this afternoon and complete his medical, after Chelsea agreed a £9million loan fee with Atletico to bring the forward to west London for the rest of the season.
As we covered earlier, Chelsea will cover Felix’s salary in full, but there is no option for the club to make the move a permanent one in the summer.
Arsenal are on the verge of finalising their transfer fee to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk.
French outlet Foot Mercato report on the up-front payment now being sorted with only the add-ons now being thrashed out.
Chelsea appears to have been beaten with this saga’s end now in sight.
Calciomercato claim that talks are progressing well, with Arsenal remaining Mudryk’s “only goal” despite interest from Chelsea.
The Gunners want Mudryk, he wants them… an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk over the fee and this one will finally be done!

Chelsea target Arsen Zakharyan has admitted his confusion at the ongoing talks to sign for the club, which collapsed in the summer after his native Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
He told Sport Express: “We are already solving this problem with the club and the agents.
“What and how it will be I cannot say. I don’t know, I don’t have a plane in two hours. I’m at Dynamo Moscow, I’m preparing for the season.”
Serie A side Salernitana are not giving up hope of signing Pape Matar Sarr on loan.
Tottenham have gone on the record with their intention of keeping the young midfielder in north London this month.
But TuttoSalernitana claim the Italians remain determined to do a deal.
That right-back Chelsea are after could become Tottenham target Pedro Porro.
The Sporting CP wing-back has a release clause in the region of £40m and talks have taken place with Spurs this month.
Transfer journalist Ben Jacobs claims Chelsea are pondering a bid.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal to take Wout Weghorst to Manchester United is done.
Besiktas will bank around £2.5m for accepting the early end of the Burnley striker’s loan.
Weghorst will then move to Old Trafford once a replacement is found by the Turkish club.
Sol Campbell hopes Arsenal can still pull off a swoop for Joao Felix.
Record quote the ex-Gunners defender as saying: “Well, João Felix looks like he’s going somewhere else… These deals have to be done quickly.
“He would be a great player on loan, but it looks like he won’t go to Arsenal. I hope something happens to reverse the situation and take Joao Felix to Arsenal.
“Players are needed who make a difference in the last 10, 15 games. These signings cannot be missed.”

Marco van Basten has added his name to the list of ex-players questioning Manchester United’s interest in Wout Weghorst.
Wesley Sneijder labelled the potential move a “stunt”, and now Van Basten had questioned what Weghorst would bring to Old Trafford while also strangely warning Erik ten Hag about the Dutch influence at the club.
“It can become dangerous if you have too many Dutch people and things are not going well,” Van Basten told Ziggo Sport.
“You also saw that at Barcelona, when they had five Dutch people. Then it will work against you. Ten Hag has to be careful with that.
“I have my doubts. Take a look at Luuk de Jong. That is really a striker that you can play through the air.
“I don’t think Weghorst is very strong in that regard. He can score a header, but he is more of a boy who can do something with his enthusiasm and force.”
