Mikel Arteta Reveals One ‘Very Dangerous’ Chelsea Player That Can Hurt Arsenal On Sunday

Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta has stated that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a ‘very dangerous’ player who might hurt his team on Sunday.

Gunners travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea in the Premier League match before the World Cup break.

Aubameyang was a hero to Gunners fans. He was also the club captain, and he led Arsenal to an FA Cup victory in 2020.

However, Aubameyang’s time with the club was cut short by Arteta at the start of this year.

The Gabon star joined Barcelona from Arsenal in February of this year. He was excellent for the Catalans, but when Chelsea came calling, Xavi’s side chose to cash in.

He later returned to England in the summer and will now play Arsenal for the first time since leaving the club.

Arteta was asked about Aubamayang yesterday, and the Arsenal manager admitted that he’s a dangerous player who will score if given the chance.

The Gunners boss said, as per Arsenal.com: “(Aubameyang is) very dangerous.

“If Auba has something, it’s the ability to put the ball in the back of the net and he’s going to be doing that until the day that he decides he’s had enough of football.”

When Asked how Arsenal can stop Aubameyang, Arteta said: “We will have to look first of all at what Chelsea do and try to put a plan together to avoid that.”

The now-33-year-old has only scored three goals in all competitions this season, but the game against Arsenal on Sunday will be a special occasion for him, and he’d love nothing more than to score against Arteta’s team.

Arsenal, on the other hand, should not be anxious. They’ve been absolutely outstanding since the beginning of the season, and if they play to their full potential, they should be able to beat this Chelsea team.

It will be interesting to watch how everything plays out on Sunday, but if Aubameyang scores, it will be devastating for Arsenal fans.
