Mikel Arteta Give Reasons Arsenal Can Still Win Premier League Title Ahead of Man City

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has stated that his side are determined to fight to the end regarding their Premier League ambition despite seeding advantage to Manchester City.

After pulling three disappointing draws in their last three games, Arsenal fell to their fourth Premier League defeat of the season at the hands of Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.

The defeat meant Manchester City, who also had two games in hand are in the driver’s seat to retain their Premier League title this season.

However, Arteta, who has secured Champions League qualification for Arsenal for the first time since 2016, insists that the club will fight till the end stating that anything can still happen in the title race and Arsenal must be ready to take advantage in case City slipped.

“Today is very difficult after the way we lost, but we have to stand up and look at the bigger picture and the fact that we’re competing toe-to-toe with this team – it is incredible. We want to compete and we’re not going to give up.

“There are five games to go and anything can happen. I’ve seen a lot of things happen in more than 20 years and you have to believe that.

“Tonight it is difficult to do that but we have to look in the mirror and accept that we have lost against an exceptional team, and that is the level,” Arteta said.
