Messi Set To Earn £532,000 Per Day With Potential Saudi Arabia Contract To Exceed Ronaldo Wages

Lionel Messi has reportedly been offered a staggering record-breaking salary of £194 million per year to play for Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia Pro League, which would make him the highest-paid athlete in history.

The Argentine superstar and World Cup winner, Messi could earn £532,000 per day if he accepts £194m yearly salary in Saudi Arabia where his wages would surpass the £177 million per year contract that Cristiano Ronaldo currently earns at Al Nassr.

Currently, Ronaldo earns an astonishing £485,000 per day, or £14.75 million per month, £3.4 million per week, £20,000 per hour, and £337 every minute.

However, Messi’s potential earnings would dwarf Ronaldo’s, with reports indicating that he is most likely to join Al Hilal in Riyadh.

Messi’s father, Jorge, was recently in Saudi Arabia, sparking speculation that the Argentine World Cup winner could move there when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) expires at the end of the season.

If Messi accepts the reported contract offer, he would earn £16.17 million per month, or an astounding £532,000 per day, which breaks down to £2,000 per hour, £369 per minute, and £6.15 per second.

Forbes ranked Messi as the highest-paid sportsperson in 2022, with a total income of £107 million from his base football salary and commercial bonuses.

However, this is £70 million less than Ronaldo’s current yearly contract.

Messi’s PSG teammate, Neymar, earned £78.5 million in 2022, while Mohamed Salah was the next highest-paid footballer with £37 million.

There are rumors that MLS team Inter Miami is interested in signing Messi, but PSG sporting director Luis Campos revealed last month how he hopes Messi continues his spell in France beyond the summer.

He told Telefoot: “At the moment, we are in discussions with Messi for his extension.

“I would like to keep him in this project, I can’t hide it. We are talking at the moment to achieve this goal, and continue to have him with us.”
