Manchester United have secured their spot in the FA Cup final against Manchester City after winning a nerve-wracking semi-final clash against Brighton on penalties.
The stage is set for an epic Manchester derby FA Cup final as Manchester United and Manchester City are set to battle it out at Wembley.
It’s the first time that the two rivals will meet in an FA Cup final, making it a highly anticipated match for football fans around the world.
It was a grueling 120-minute goalless affair that had fans on the edge of their seats, with the game ultimately being decided from the spot.
United kept their cool and sealed a 7-6 victory in the shootout, with Victor Lindelof scoring the winner after Solly March missed his effort and sent the ball well over the crossbar.

David de Gea deserves a standing ovation for his stellar performance in goal, making a number of key saves to keep Brighton at bay before the shoot-out.
The Spanish goalkeeper responded in style after a harrowing night against Sevilla just three days ago, proving once again why he is considered one of the best in the business.

Erik ten Hag’s side will return to Wembley on 3 June, hoping to claim their second piece of silverware of the season after already securing the Carabao Cup.
The first half of the match was quiet, with Alexis Mac Allister testing de Gea early on with a free kick from the edge of the box.
United seemed to be struggling, perhaps still reeling from their Europa League exit on Thursday, but found their feet as the half wore on.
Bruno Fernandes had his side’s best effort, but it was just wide of Robert Sanchez’s post. Brighton goalkeeper Sanchez also hacked away Christian Eriksen’s scuffed effort late in the half.

Brighton started the second half in control, pinning United back with Julio Enciso almost scoring a wonder strike that was palmed away by de Gea.
United soaked up the pressure until the hour mark before responding, with Antony finding some space down the right but failing to trouble the Brighton goalkeeper.
While the second half was livelier, there was a lack of cutting edge and incisive final ball from both sides. Brighton missed the focal point of Evan Ferguson, who was ruled out through injury, and Anthony Martial failed to make an impression on the game.
Brighton failed to punish United, with Danny Welbeck bursting in at the back post unmarked but heading his effort over the bar.
With extra-time looming, de Gea was called into action again, getting down to his left to deny Solly March and pouncing to collect the loose ball with Pascal Gross lurking.
Jadon Sancho and Marcel Sabitzer were both introduced off the bench and almost combined to give United a breakthrough, but the Austrian’s effort was just wide.
