Jorginho Reveals How He Feels At Chelsea Amid Contract Uncertainty

Jorginho has revealed that despite doubt cast over his future at Stamford Bridge, he is “very happy” at Chelsea.

The Italy international was heavily linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge in the summer as he entered the final year of his deal at Stamford Bridge.

He will be eligible to begin pre-contract talks with foreign clubs in January over a free transfer in the summer if he fails to pen an extension with the Blues. And Barcelona are weighing up a move for the midfielder.

Jorginho has reportedly attracted interest from Barcelona, however, the midfielder has claimed that he is relaxed about the situation.

“I’m very happy at the moment we’re all very focused on what we need to do. I’m enjoying life here. I’m enjoying working with everyone and I think everybody says the same thing. It’s enjoyable to be at Chelsea,” he told The 5th Stand.

Agent Joao Santos revealed last month that the player intends to renew his deal at Stamford Bridge.

“We are due in June. We prioritize Chelsea and we are moving toward it. Another priority for Jorginho is to do well with the national team,” he told Tuttomercatoweb.

Jorginho has made 16 appearances for Chelsea across all competitions this season, scoring three times.
