The Italian international left Chelsea to join Arsenal in the January transfer window for £12 million, joining on an initial 18-month contract to help provide first-choice holding Thomas Partey with some competition following Mohamed Elneny’s long-term injury.
However, Jorginho’s latest Instagram post congratulating Arsenal’s women’s team for their 3-1 win over Chelsea in the Conti Cup final could have angered Chelsea supporters.

Jorginho shared a photo on Instagram featuring the Arsenal women’s team posing with their trophy and added clapping emojis.
This action clearly shows where his allegiance lies and may frustrate Chelsea supporters who are likely to be unhappy with him for rubbing in their team’s defeat.
Jorginho seems to have adjusted to life in north London quickly and has already made a positive impact on the team. He played exceptionally well in consecutive wins against Aston Villa and Leicester City last month and has also developed a good relationship with his Arsenal teammates, particularly Granit Xhaka.

In an interview with beIN Sports, Jorginho mentioned that although he has had a few on-field disagreements with Xhaka in the past, he is happy to have him as a teammate and they now get along well, sharing good laughs off the pitch.
“Yes, outside of the pitch [Xhaka is different]. I asked him the other day where I could go for dinner around here and he booked me and didn’t let me pay as well.
“I was like ‘Ok, thank you very much.’ [laughs]. So yes he’s a really, really nice guy and I’m glad I can see this other part of him.”
