Giroud Predicts Position Arsenal Will Finish, Reacts To Thomas Tuchel’s Sack

Olivier Giroud has predicted that Arsenal will finish in the top four positions on the Premier League table this season.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, the France International described Chelsea’s decision to sack manager Thomas Tuchel as sad.

Recall that Giroud played at both Chelsea and Arsenal during his time in the Premier League.

When asked about Chelsea’s decision to dismiss Tuchel, Giroud said: “It’s part of football. It’s sad. I think Thomas has done a great job for Chelsea.”

Commenting on Arsenal, Giroud added: “I’ve also been watching my Gooners. I think it’s going to be another interesting year for them.”

When asked if he believes Mikel Arteta can guide Arsenal to a top-four finish this season, Giroud replied: ”Yes, definitely. I hope so.”

Giroud currently plays as a striker for Serie A club AC Milan.
