Cristiano Ronaldo Performs New Celebration After Scoring Against Luxembourg [Video]

Cristiano Ronaldo added a new twist to his goal celebration for Portugal’s match against Luxembourg, after previously showing off a finger-locking gesture that was described as “self-deprecating” by Manchester United.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner had previously made the ‘SIUU’ celebration a viral meme and iconic celebration in football.

In the match against Luxembourg, Ronaldo combined both celebrations by transitioning from his signature jump into the finger-locking pose.

Ronaldo’s impressive form for Portugal has continued, as he scored twice in the 4-0 win over Lichtenstein and added another brace against Luxembourg.

The celebration has even been added to FIFA 23, allowing gamers to emulate Ronaldo’s iconic moves.

Ronaldo currently holds Portugal’s record for most goals scored with 122 goals in 197 appearances.
