Cristiano Ronaldo Buries The Hatchet With Marcus Rashford, Gives Him Tips

Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford have settled their ongoing beef for the sake of Manchester United.

Infoexpert24 understands that Ronaldo and Rashford have had a difficult relationship since Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford in September 2021.

But despite Ronaldo’s frustration with starting just two games this season, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has become one of Rashford’s biggest fans.

A source said: “Ronaldo was in some pain in the dressing room and some players were frustrated with the fact that he missed pre-season and was swinging around Carrington.

“But since the transfer window closed, his attitude has improved and he has been very useful with Marcus.

“He’s been spending time with him, talking about the game and giving his constructive criticism about being positioned on the field.

“Marcus was a bit surprised by that because it’s always tough when you’re playing and your teammate isn’t and you’re both fighting for the same position.

“But the relationship between the pair has never been better and Marcus knows he can learn a lot from him.

“He is grateful for the advice and for the fact that Ronaldo seems sincere that he wants Marcos to improve and succeed.”

Rashford, 24, has been favored as the key player up front this season and has already rewarded Tin Hag with three hits and two assists in six games so far.

Ten Hag believes Rashford could lead United to win their first Premier League title since 2013.

Ronaldo scored 24 goals last season, but Rashford lost his level and missed the field, scoring only five goals in 32 games.

But this season under new coach Erik Ten Hag, Ronaldo found himself outside the starting line-up after missing the pre-season.

Ronaldo scored his first goal of the season with a penalty kick last week in the European League match against Sherif Tiraspol.

Rashford had been pressing for a place in the Nations League squad led by Gareth Southgate but was sidelined due to injury.

Ronaldo has said he has no plans to retire from international football after the World Cup and hopes to play a role in Euro 2024 for Portugal.
