Chelsea’s Reece James Responds To Fan’s Plea For Him To Join Arsenal

Chelsea star, Reece James has delivered a straightforward response to a fan who suggested he should join Blues Premier League rival, Arsenal.

Following Arsenal’s recent signing of Kai Havertz from Chelsea for a staggering £65 million, one fan took to social media to propose the idea of James also making the move to the Emirates Stadium.

Surprisingly, the 23-year-old Englishman personally responded to the fan’s comment.

In a Twitter exchange, when the supporter tweeted, “Reece James to Arsenal, who says no?” James swiftly replied, “I say no.”

This blunt response quickly put an end to any hopes Arsenal fans may have had about seeing James donning their team’s jersey.

Chelsea, showing their support for James then replied to his tweet with the message, “One of our own,” accompanied by a blue heart emoji, emphasizing the player’s close ties to the club.

Having joined Chelsea at the tender age of eight, James has grown into an integral part of the squad, making 147 appearances for the Blues.

His contributions were crucial to Chelsea’s triumph in the 2021 UEFA Champions League final against Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Havertz, who scored the winning goal in that historic Champions League final will be representing Arsenal next season after completing his move to the club in the £65 million deal.

Upon signing with Arsenal, Havertz expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “It’s super exciting for me to be joining this amazing club and to be part of the Arsenal family.
