Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has come under heavy scrutiny following his recent Instagram post featuring an elderly man working out in a gym.
In the video, which was shared on Mudryk’s story reel, a man can be seen using a rowing machine, but his shorts were pixelated, indicating a potential wardrobe malfunction during his exercise routine.
Mudryk’s decision to upload the video on his Instagram account has sparked criticism, particularly from social media influencer Joey Swoll. With a substantial following of over 600,000 on Twitter, Swoll identifies himself as the “CEO of gym positivity.”
Swoll was quick to condemn Mudryk’s actions, joining the chorus of voices expressing disapproval over the choice to share such content on social media.

He said ‘So you see that man at the gym, working hard, trying to better himself, with a trainer,’ Swoll said in a response video on Twitter.
‘He’s in an embarrassing situation where, yes, he’s a little exposed. And you decide: ‘Hey, let me take a video of it to post on social media to make fun of him’, all for attention. Really? What is wrong with you?
‘You’re a professional soccer player, you play for Chelsea in the Premier League! Is this really how you want to represent yourself and your team?
‘You should at least mind your own business or tell his trainer, let his trainer help him out?
‘What you don’t do is take a video to post online for millions to see and make fun of this man. The fact you don’t know better, or want to set a better example as a professional athlete.
‘Really? You need to do better, mind your own business.’
Mudryk has often found himself out of the starting XI under Frank Lampard and was on the bench for the Blues’ trip to Manchester City on Sunday.

As for Chelsea, they face Manchester United in their penultimate game of the season. The Blues were beaten at Manchester City on Sunday and can no longer finish in the top-half.
Speaking after his side’s defeat at the Etihad Stadium, interim boss Frank Lampard admitted the Premier League is getting a lot more challenging.
“The Premier League is getting tougher, we’ve felt that this year and we’ve felt things we need to improve for next year,” he said. “There’s a lot of work to be done. There’s clearly talent in the squad, making a lack of stability in the squad, maybe an imbalance in the squad. So those things are maybe club issue and every player needs to really get the work on to see if they can get us back to where we want to be.”
Gary Neville added: “Every time I look at Frank Lampard he’s got a look of a manager who doesn’t like his players. Chelsea need the end of the season, badly. I think he needs to change these players’ mentality from where it has been for the last few months.
“Then he needs to hope the break they get in the summer gives them a rest mentally to come back fresh next season under the new manager.”
Mauricio Pochettino is set to take over as the new Chelsea manager at the end of the season. The Argentine has been out of work since his departure from Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
