Arrival of Rafael Leao to Chelsea could be a Worrying News For Mudryk
Chelsea are reportedly making a bold move for AC Milan’s Rafael Leao which could spell trouble for Mykhaylo Mudryk‘s future at the club.
The Portuguese forward has been in scintillating form for the Rossoneri this season, catching the eye of several top sides across Europe. However, it’s the Blues who appear to be leading the race for the 23-year-old’s signature.
Leao is in contract extension talks with Milan, but that hasn’t deterred Chelsea, who are believed to be considering a swap deal to bring the forward to Stamford Bridge.

Reports suggest that Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who has struggled for game time, could be included in the deal, as could defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
AC Milan are said to also have an interest in Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi, who are both thought to be surplus to requirements at Chelsea.
If the deal goes through, it could have major implications for Mudryk, who has struggled for opportunities since his arrival from Shakhtar Donetsk in January.

Despite providing some energy to the team, Mudryk has yet to score a goal in the Premier League and may find himself playing second fiddle to Leao on the bench.
However, with the imminent arrival of Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea, there could be hope for the Ukrainian international, as the Argentine is reportedly confident that he can help Mudryk reach the heights that Son Heung-min did during their time together at Tottenham.
It remains to be seen whether the swap deal will go ahead, but if it does, it could be a game-changer for both Chelsea and AC Milan, with some of their fringe players potentially getting a new lease of life at a different club.
