It was another game where the Blues failed to score a single goal. Since the World Cup, it has happened six times in 11 games. It is not as if they are scoring bucketloads of goals in other games too.
“Again, not good enough. I can stand here and say we created chances like I said in Dortmund, but it doesn’t really mean anything. We need to win these games.
“We need to work hard, it is a pretty flat dressing room at the moment. It is hard to get into it, in terms of what we did right and wrong today, but we have time now until our next game to work hard.”

Amidst the questions regarding his future, Telegraph reported that the Chelsea owners still have no intention of sacking Graham Potter.
They even revealed some of the reasons behind the decision, the major one being the fact that Potterdid did not have a pre-season with the squad when he was appointed.
What that does is tells us that the club’s hierarchy is ready to stick with Potter till the end of this season and judge the results when he has a pre-season with the squad.
As much as that is sensible thinking from them, it cannot be understated how bad things are at the moment. It is not as if we can accept losing games left, right and centre till the summer, shall we?
