Arteta Begs Former Club Everton To Help Arsenal’s Premier League Title Bid

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, and former Everton midfielder is hoping his old club can do him and his Gunners a massive favour in their pursuit of the title by defeating Manchester City today.

Arteta expressed his determination to continue fighting for the title, emphasizing the need to dig deep and seize any opportunity that may arise.

Arteta, whose side host top-seven challengers Brighton, said: “We are going to continue to dig — dig, dig, dig, dig — and maybe the prize is there.

“We don’t know if it’s there [points one way] or there [points another] but we are going to continue to dig just in case it is where we can get to and make sure that we can do our best.”

Arsenal currently sit one point behind league leaders Manchester City, with one game in hand. Arteta acknowledged the significance of the upcoming matches and the enthusiasm within the team to secure the coveted prize.

The manager recognized the challenge they face in their match against Brighton, a team fighting for an important position.

Arteta stated, “To do that, we have to win our matches, and the first one is Brighton, and they are fighting for something very important. That is what is going to make it really complicated.”

Arteta holds hope that Everton, managed by Sean Dyche can create complications for Manchester City.

He praised Everton’s recent performance and their ability to compete strongly against top teams. Arteta, a devoted Everton fan, expressed his desire for their success, stating, “As a huge Everton fan, I want the best for them, and that’s not going to change this weekend.”

Thomas Partey, the Arsenal midfielder, acknowledged the tough battle they will face against Brighton. He recognized Brighton’s resilient mentality and their determination to never give up, emphasizing the difficulty of the upcoming game.
