Arsenal Will Bottle Premier League Title In ‘Pressure Games’ And Man City Will Win It – Roy Keane

Manchester United legend Roy Keane has voiced his opinion that Arsenal will falter in the race for the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners currently sit eight points ahead of Manchester City at the top of the table, though Pep Guardiola’s side has a game in hand.

Arsenal will also have to contend with some tough fixtures in the coming weeks, including an away game against Manchester City on April 26.

They also have matches against Liverpool, Newcastle, and Chelsea on the horizon, making for a challenging run-in to the end of the season.

Keane’s comments come as no surprise, as he is known for his outspoken views on football matters. However, the former Manchester United captain’s assessment of Arsenal’s chances will be of concern to Gunners fans who are hoping for their first title since 2004.

Despite Keane’s prediction, Arsenal has shown impressive form this season, with Mikel Arteta’s tactical nous and leadership guiding the team to the top of the table.

The Gunners have played some impressive football and shown resilience in the face of tough opposition.

As the season draws to a close, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be able to maintain their lead and clinch the title.

The coming weeks will be crucial for the Gunners, and they will need to continue their impressive form if they are to hold off Manchester City and other challengers for the Premier League crown.

Speaking on The Overlap, Keane claimed that “brilliant” City’s experience will get them over the line.

He said: “They (Arsenal) are in a great position, wouldn’t have thought that at the start of the season but they’ve been brilliant, a lot of the young players have been very consistent, they can just focus on the league.

“They’re definitely favourites for the title. I don’t think they’ll do it.

“I still have to fancy City but Arsenal have got themselves in a great position.

“You need a little bit of luck, injuries over the last few months, they’re in a great position and you have to admire them for that – can’t begrudge them.

“I just think City are that brilliant. The games they (Arsenal) have to go and win, these are obviously pressure games and they’ve not dealt with that over the last few years.

“Even last year with top four they came up short, that’s the question mark that’s just hanging over them.

“But again, they’ve been brilliant, if they did go on and win it you have to give them the plaudits, but this is the crunch time, when you sort the men out from the boys, who can get over the line?”

Manchester City has a relatively easy run-in compared to Arsenal, according to the latest football news. The reigning champions have a favorable fixture list, although they still have European football and an FA Cup semi-final to contend with.

City’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against Bayern Munich is sandwiched between Premier League matches against Southampton and Leicester.

The Citizens also have a home fixture against Arsenal just four days after their FA Cup semi-final against Sheffield United.

While City’s fixture list may appear easier on paper, they cannot afford to underestimate any opponents, as the race for the Premier League title heats up.

The team’s depth and experience will be put to the test, with key players like Kevin De Bruyne, and Riyad Mahrez expected to step up in the coming weeks.

For Arsenal, the challenge will be to maintain their current form and continue their winning streak, despite facing some tough opposition.

As the Premier League season draws to a close, the title race remains wide open. Both Arsenal and Manchester City will need to navigate through some tough fixtures and maintain their focus if they are to emerge as champions come the end of the season.
