Arsenal are reportedly in battle line with  Chelsea for Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface who has impressed in Germany since his summer move from Union Saint-Gilloise.

Meanwhile, Manchester United is actively assessing potential striking recruits for the upcoming January transfer window. The club has identified a formidable shortlist, including Bayern Munich‘s Thomas Muller and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner, and Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy, as revealed by The Athletic.

Amidst these considerations, Jadon Sancho‘s future at Manchester United seems uncertain, with ongoing discussions hinting at a probable loan return to Borussia Dortmund.

Raphael Varane will not be returning to Real Madrid this month as Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out signing a centre-back.

Ivan Toney’s hopes of joining Arsenal this month are fading as the Gunners are reluctant to meet Brentford’s £100m asking price.

Manchester City are interested in Boniface’s Leverkusen teammate Florian Wirtz, but they will not be able to sign him this month.

Tottenham are unlikely to sign Conor Gallagher from rivals Chelsea this month as the Blues are holding out for a fee of £60m.
