Arsenal players are being called out by fans on social media for a recent video posted on their Twitter account that involved a young Gunners fan.
In the clip, Arsenal plyers can be seen signing a young fan’s shirt upon arriving for their Premier League clash against West Ham on Sunday.
“Making memories with our mascot,” the caption reads.
At first glance, the video seems fairly innocuous and innocent – but not in the eyes of some fans. Majority of the responses were disappointing to say.

Social media personality Rory Jennings has slated the players, questioning why they didn’t acknowledge the young girl at all.
“That little girl looking up in awe at her heroes and not one of them had the courtesy to acknowledge her in any way whatsoever,” Jennings tweeted.
“This is a disgusting clip. A sad indictment of how football has gone.”
Below are other reactions from fans to the video posted on Arsenal Twitter page:
@duncanfo: Are you actually kidding. Not one interaction with her. Entitled, over paid and rude.
@DuncanLindsay; Look how much hope and adoration she has in her face and how much just a smile, nod and/or hello would have made her day
@TFoenander: Memories of every single of your players & manager being too caught up in their own importance to even acknowledge her (even if she did walk out with them later). First impressions matter & I don’t buy malarkey about how big a game it was. It takes 2 seconds to smile and say ‘hi’
@Emily_1010x: She’d have far better memories if one of them gave eye contact or were bothered to acknowledge the girl. Rude and entitled springs to mind!

@andrewstevo39: Embarrassing… Think Ben White was the only one who made some sort of gesture toward her. 🤯 Before people moan saying ” what do you expect them to do” a simple ‘Hello’ would suffice 🤔
@FireManDanDJ: MVery very poor video. Amazed @arsenal think this portrays a great image ? Bless her, not even spoken to. Very disappointing to see :0(
@Lottie_Lush: Awww this is actually heartbreaking, look at her face 🥺❤️ Arsenal, I’m disappointed…
@UTD_Anna_: Some eye contact or even have a little talk with this girl would have made her day , in the bin with that signature.
Very poor Arsenal !!
@JamieGos: She’s looking up to all these players with a smile and not one player gave any interaction, a handshake, a hug, or anything? Too busy passing the pen back to the next player. This is sad. On so many levels.
@ltsMark: That’s such poor form from all of them. Not one of them acknowledged her. It doesn’t take much to just say hi or even give her a smile, it would of made her day.
