Super Eagles captain and former CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa is reportedly set to rejoin Nigerian Professional Football League side Kano Pillars infoexpert24 reports.
The 28-year-old has been without a club since leaving Saudi Arabia Professional League club Al Nassr in October, 2020.
The versatile winger featured in Nigeria’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying tie against Lesotho last month despite his inactivity at club level.
According to the latest report by ACL Sports, they explained that an unnamed Kano Pillars official revealed that Ahmed Musa would be rejoining them soon.
“Musa has practically agreed to the deal and what is left is just to iron out details of the deal. “It is practically impossible to get a deal in Europe before May when Super Eagles will reconvene for the World Cup qualifiers and he really wants to keep himself in a competitive shape for that”.
