The Red Devils are set to implement the ‘Ronaldo rule’ after the club mutually terminated the contract of Cristiano Ronaldo, who was on £480,000-a-week before his well-publicized exit.
According to Mail, the club’s chief executive Richard Arnold, football director John Murtough, and manager Erik ten Hag, have decided to draw back on the wage expenditure and alleviate any jealousy among the squad.

At the top of the list is David De Gea, whose contract is up at Old Trafford in the summer of 2023.
