4 Players Mauricio Pochettino Wants To Sign For Chelsea In Summer Transfer Window

Mauricio Pochettino has wasted no time in identifying his desired signings for Chelsea as he prepares to take charge at Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Following the departure of Graham Potter, the Blues are expected to appoint Pochettino as their new permanent manager, with the Argentine being their top choice candidate.

Pochettino, accompanied by his long-time assistant Jese Perez, has been actively involved in discussions with sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley to plan for the upcoming season, as reported by the Daily Mail.

A significant squad overhaul is on the horizon at Stamford Bridge, with several departures anticipated following a series of high-profile signings since the club was acquired by Todd Boehly.

Pochettino, known for his meticulous approach, is keen to make his mark on the team and has identified three key positions to strengthen: a striker, a midfielder, and a goalkeeper.

One of Pochettino’s top targets is Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, who could potentially reunite with his strike partner Romelu Lukaku at Chelsea. Martinez has been in impressive form this season, scoring 24 goals for the Champions League semi-finalists.

In addition to their attacking options, Chelsea is eyeing two Argentine World Cup winners. Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister is expected to be available in the summer, providing a midfield boost for the Blues.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez has emerged as a potential solution to their goalkeeping issues.
